Incorporated in 2002, R&W has established itself as an innovative and unrivaled wine and spirits marketing export Service Company. During this period the company has built a strong management team, which continues to develop and adapt to market and demographic trends. R&W is comprised of many industry professionals separated into specific groups of expertise operating out of the Company’s three regional offices.

 

MANAGEMENT TEAM

Nicolas Olivry – Chief Executive Officer


Having graduated business school, Nicolas left France for Asia where he has resided since 1995.  Prior to co-founding Red & White International, he was employed in the food and beverage industry by Asian and French based companies specializing in importation and domestic distribution. His network of contacts throughout Asia Pacific and Europe remains a tremendous asset. Wine Industry Veteran, Nicolas Olivry has contributed significantly to the evolution of wine in Asia, managing some of the most prominent wineries and brands throughout the entire region. Nicolas is supported by his executive team of Directors, each with many years experience in corporate development, finance, and international commerce.

 

Justin Wright – Managing Director

Justin Wright began his banking career over fifteen years ago in the management team of Herzog Heine Geduld International in London, which was subsequently acquired by Merrill Lynch. During his tenure at HHGI, he was appointed as a full time member of the Brussels based ‘EASDAQ’ market advisory committee. He subsequently founded and managed a number of capital market businesses on behalf of US based investment banks both in London and Australia, where he was most recently an Executive Director of Cranport Hedge Fund. As a principal of Cranport he was responsible for engineering a number of M&A deals, both public and private whilst also making regular live appearances on CNBC Asia’s business program.

After leaving Australia, Justin has been appointed as an independent lead advisor to capital and debt transactions on behalf of a number of South East Asian market leading company’s operating within the real estate, hospitality and F&B sector, including Ku De Ta at the prestigious Marina Bay Sands in Singapore.

Justin is also an Executive Fundraising Officer of Kampuchea Balop, a Cambodian & French, non-government organization assisting local disadvantaged and disabled children with a youth development through sports program.

 

MARKETING TEAM


The marketing team is composed of experienced marketing management executives who are responsible for all aspects of brand development. Each manager oversees specific territories. Their role is to support existing importing partners by developing and implementing tailor made marketing strategies for each of our producer’s brands within their territory, this includes complete commercial/promotional activities and order management & fulfillment.

The marketing coordinator & team support the marketing managers by monitoring all incoming and outgoing data (market specifics, producer initiatives and corporate objectives, travel schedules/client visits, event programs, etc…). In addition, the team is responsible for developing and planning broader cross-region marketing goals & the long-term strategy for brand development. This department represents the core of R&W’s activities.

 

SALES & DOCUMENTATION DEPARTMENT

R&W’s S&D department is composed of logistic professionals. Their role is to ensure and facilitate all steps of the ordering process, to generate and transmit accurate data to all parties through the order cycle including SND’s (shipping and notification documentation), whilst crucially reducing the lead time to fulfill orders and complete the cycle between receipt of orders to shipping. R&W also provides facilitation as a secondary service upon demand in its role as a designated marketing representative.

 

ADMIN & FINANCIAL DIVISION


R&W’s financial team plays a critical role in the evaluation of counterparty risk, through multiple years of trading experience, dealing actively with in excess of 100 importers in 18 territories. R&W’s due diligence procedures and in depth market participant analytical knowledge provides comfort to our producer partners by reducing the geopolitical and financial risk ordinarily associated with expansion into foreign export markets. The administration team also liaise closely with producer partners internal finance departments by way of accounts receivable/invoice services on behalf of the client.
