Since 1895, the Lavau family has been involved in winemaking. Their estate has ranging from Bordeaux to the hills of Tunisia. In 1964, seduced by the richness and quality of the Provencal soil, the family decided to settle in the Rhône Valley. 40 years later, the cellar is managed by the brothers Benoit Lavau and Frederic Lavau.

The family owns three cellars in the southern Rhône Valley, where they are in partnership with 300 grape growers. The Lavau winery vinifies grapes from most of the appellations in the southern Rhône, including all the famous crus: Tavel, Vacqueyras, Gigondas and Chateauneuf du Pape. The partnership established with the growers allows Lavau to choose the best terroir and the best grapes in order to create the best blend. Terroir and grapes are vinified to obtain quintessential aromas and perfect balance in their wines, a subtle marriage of tradition and modernity.

In a location in harmony with their wines – elegant, modern, convivial – you could discover the whole Lavau wine range: varietal wines, Côtes du Rhône and Crus.
